My husband and I have just returned from spending two nights at Grey's. The hosts are super friendly, with discerning taste whilst being extremely professional. It was such a pleasurable trip for us and Grey's complimented our time beautifully.

The breakfast is stylishly presented and very tasty, using locally made produce for the cooked meats and full English, which always arrived piping hot and delicious .

The room we stayed in was perfect for all we needed, decorated in pale colours and very relaxing. The coffee machine was so appreciated in our room as was the lovely White Company toiletries. Little touches made such a difference.

In the foyer a huge bunch of fresh flowers is a welcoming touch as is the roses on each table in the dining room each morning.

We were sad to leave and wished we could have squeezed another night in!

Thanks so much for having us.

Stayed at greys hotel for 2 nights whilst attending a family wedding in Brighton.
Has to be said the room was lovely especially at the price (you can pay more and get a lot less in Brighton).
The 2 guys who run it were very pleasant and helpful, whilst the Breakfast was very nice.
Overall a great weekend and would definitely stay again.

Last minute bookings can be a hell of a gamble but thankfully this is one paid off a treat.

Our late arrival was handled well at short notice by the cheery owner Terry. Our room (No.4) was beautifully decorated and well furnished. The four poster bed was a nice touch and more importantly proper comfy.

The chap running the place over the weekend (Jamie) added to the overall experience. He couldn't be more helpful and friendly if he tried.

The location was spot on being just a stone throw from the sea (shame there wasn't a sea view, but you can't have it all) and just a few minutes away from the lanes.

We had breakfast two out of the three mornings and they nailed it each time. The breakfast menu was varied while there was also plenty or fruit, yogurt and cereal on offer as well.

Nice hotel, good location just off the sea front, good value for Brighton and a decent breakfast. Room was compact but had everything you need for a weekend break. Wasn't keen on part of the bed being up against a wall as there was no bedside table that side and a bit awkward getting out of bed. Other than that no complaints.

Just arrived home from a 2 night stay in Brighton to celebrate my birthday. My husband booked the trip as a present for me, as I'd always wanted to visit Brighton but never have. He chose Grey's Hotel and what a good choice it was. Lovely hotel and Jamie and Terry are wonderful hosts. Big up to the chap who cooks the breakfasts as well, they are truly delicious. Had eggs royale one day and full English the next day and both were really lovely and set you up well for the day. Our room was compact, but had everything we could need and was super clean and comfortable. Lovely The White Company toiletries (so nice in fact, we stopped off at a branch of The White Company in town on the way to the station and brought ourselves some!)
Had a lot of fun in Brighton, and Grey's was the perfect base to explore it. Only 10 minutes walk from the Pier and a little further into the town proper. Station is about a 20 minute walk away, we did walk it as we were very lucky to have great weather, but if it was raining or cold we would have got a cab which are apparently good value.
Thanks so much Jamie and Terry for making our stay a memorable one. I would thoroughly recommend Grey's and will definitely stay there again the next time we are in Brighton.
