Staff very friendly, room was fantastic sea view over the pier. Food was lovely. Will definitely be coming back. We was originally in the hilton up the road but checked out after an hour, the Atlantic was so much more better realy enjoyed my stay here.

Great location, friendly staff, not particularly clean, no sign of a refurbishment? Tired rooms which were 'sloping', you couldn't sit on the toilet properly as the shower cubicle touched your knees. Soggy white toast at breakfast with hard boiled 'poached' eggs. Very noisy until the early hours of the morning with traffic and nightclubbers.

We ordered a double room but it was way to small! It was a single room crammed with a double bed and there as barely any room to walk around. The cleanliness of the room was disgusting! Upon entering the room we found the bed completely covered in what seemed to be pubic hair and stains all over the bed sheets, we also found used condom wrappers and a used jonnie by the bedside table... The toilet didn't work but was constantly running water all the time! When your trying to sleep all you can hear is water rushing down... The shower didn't work or turn on but to top it all off all you could hear through the walls was some coke head snorting drugs! the housekeeping came into our room but never cleaned! When telling the owner of the disgusting, utterly cramped and faulty facilities his attitude was terrible! All he said was 'what do you want me to do about it' I would definately AVOID this place...

We had three nights here and would not go back! The whole building has a lean and I can't understand how some reviews think it has been recently renovated! The staircase has a lean to it almost to the point of making me nauseous ! The room was tiny and the bathroom even tinier ; you had to leave the door open to use the WC! The breakfast was poor. The only thing going for it was the location . Would I go back? No!

Visited Brighton Mon-Fri with my 13 yr old daughter. B&B in a great location. Clean and comfortable. Great breakfast and excellent value. We were in room 6, which was small but had everything we needed and a lovely view of the Pier. The owner was very friendly and helpful. It was no problem to leave our bags after checkout so we could make the most of our last day.
