Cavalaire is a perfect little B&B that ticks every box - lovely clean house, warm welcoming hosts, great location.

Derek and Garry looked after my boyfriend and I very well, greeting us warmly with tea and biscuits on arrival. They were attentive hosts, from recommending restaurants and bars in the local areas, to preparing fresh well executed breakfasts in the morning. With the coast and Kemp town's restaurants and bars just a stone's throw away, and Brighton centre 5 mins walk away, location couldn't be better.

Great quality and fantastic value. Highly recommended.

Garry and Derek were wonderful hosts and their recommendations of local bars and restaurants were sport on. The four poster bed was almost too comfy to leave and the rest of the room was immaculate. A lovely hotel and highly recommended.

Room Tip: Room 3 had a gorgeous four poster bed.

Welcoming, lovely hosts. Lovely house, close to the beach, Kemp town restaurants and bars, short walk to centre. Fantastic stay. It was my boyfriend's birthday and they even gave him a little bottle of champers!
Looked after very well, will be staying here again!
Also recommended lovely places to eat and supported local businesses. Fab.

Stayed at The Cavalaire 27th & 28th March. Our only regret is that our stay was too short. Garry and Derek obviously enjoyed welcoming guests to their home. Breakfast became the venue for good humoured conversation, especially from mine host Derek. Buffy, the ancient Airedale, was a beautiful babe who on first acquaintance growled at my wife (hey result!). Garry the chef made sure that all cooked food was of the best quality and checks were made to make sure we had had enough. This B+B was spotless and decorated with taste and enthusiasm. Standing outside the front of the building the prom and beach were just at the end of the street, Just around the corner was a street dedicated to an exotic mix of small independent shops, pubs and cafe/restaurants. Garry and Derek, of course, would point out their favourites. This B+B is a gem worth seeking out,

The other reviews say it all (ignore the rather strange 1 star reviews).

The Cavalaire is well located - short walk to the town centre, sea-front and many restaurants.
The owners are helpful and welcoming - offering to chat about places to see, eateries, entertainment
Breakfast was great
Rooms are spacious, well appointed, comfortable.

Parking might be an issue - the cost of being walking distance from everywhere central - but one of the owners moved his car so I could have his space. Faultless.

Will be happy to go there again.
