A great long weekend break with our cocker spaniels. Edna was a pleasant and attentive host. Excellent location close to amenities, fishing and country riverside walks - we'll be back!
We stayed at the stable for 4 nights in September and had a very enjoyable time, we were lucky enough to have some decent weather and this place was in the perfect place as it was away from the busy towns which made it very peaceful. There is a airport about a 2 miles from the property but didnt cause us any problems as most planes looked like private light aircraft. There is a lovely pub and shop in walking distance and plenty of country walks or rides which we did.
If we were to be picky at all the property could do with some modernisation but this is reflected in the cost of staying here, i would recommend to other travellers and would love to go back next year.

We stayed here for 4 nights in September, we were lucky enough to have a mini heat wave which meant it was our best staycation ever! The accommodation is good, large and clean with more sleeping areas than we'd originally thought (which is unfortunate as we could have brought an elderly relative with us had we known). Our 1yr old loved seeing the horses walking past the windows and it made a lovely change.
We chose this accommodation as it was away from the hustle and bustle. It took us about 10-15minutes to get to Bournemouth beach by car, which was great as that's where we spent most of our time, along with Sandbanks which took around half an hour.
All in all I'd recommend The Stables
