Fortunately we had booked as several parties were turned away as the restaurant was full. Waiting staff were lovely and charming and gave us plenty of time to sort out what we were ordering. Our starters came out with loads of fresh flat bread. We all pinched bits of each other's. I can really recommend the Kidba, sautéed chicken livers on a bed of fried onions and red yellow and green peppers.
The mains were amazing and I had Bastilla, a wholesome pie with a crispy pastry top and filled with chicken, almonds, spiced egg and decorated with icing sugar and almonds. Sounds bonkers but it was really delicious.
The bottled Beirut beer is really nice too
We weren't hassled out when we had finished and we are all definitely going to go back
The food had such depth of flavour and was just so good - we will all be talking about this meal out for some time.
