Paul and Laura are to be congratulated on providing such a comfortable and welcoming "home from home" just on the fringe of Totnes town. My husband is slightly disabled and we had the twin room on the ground floor. Nothing was too much trouble for Paul and Laura: fresh fruit (raspberries and blueberries) from their garden, as well as baked tomatoes, also from their garden for breakfast. The couple have worked extremely hard to improve this property, and it shows! Will definitely book again in preference to a local hotel.

I could put it in one word :Excellent. The hosts go out of their way to help, the breakfast has many choices including different types of fresh fruit from their garden plus, plenty of cooked choices and I must add some lovely raspberry jam for the toast. There are others jams you could have.
There is also a very comfortable lounge one can use and it is not far to walk to the town where one can get a bus to various places

We stayed here for a week and have to say we enjoyed every minute of it . Paul and Laura were both very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We stayed in the double room on the front and was very comfortable. The room had a kingsize bed and also a settee which is always a bonus. Cleanliness was priority and after a day out was always nice to come back to a clean and tidy bedroom
As for the Breakfast where do I begin. Paul and Laura had thought of everything and even special requirements were catered for . There was a buffet of fresh fruit yogurt and cereal ..full english breakfast or continental too. Also a vast selection of herbal tea available .

We chose this guest house as it was in easy reach of where we wanted to visit . Would definitely recommend

Thank you to great hosts

Very welcoming, comfortable and accommodating. This place is spotlessly clean and ideally located within walking distance of the town. We only stayed overnight but we would be happy to stay longer as it's an ideal base for exploring the area

We have stayed at Four Seasons previously, but I brought my parents with us this time. It was their first ever visit to Totnes and Devon.

My parents had the family room (room 2, first floor) and my husband and I stayed in the double room directly opposite (room 3). Both rooms were spacious and clean. We also happened to be here when Devon experienced one of its hottest June periods since 1976 and so we were all incredibly thankful for the ceiling fans in our rooms!

Breakfast was generous consisting of berries and yoghurt, followed by a cooked veggie breakfast of Linda McCartney sausages, cooked tomatoes, butter fried mushrooms, baked beans and hash browns. I had porridge one morning for a change, which was very nice. There are also cereals on offer and Laura always ensured we had plenty of toast, which was great. My parents enjoyed the variety of jams and marmalades on the table.

Each room was £90 per night, which seems to be the going rate for guest houses and B&Bs in central Totnes. Four Seasons is located in Bridgetown, which is a short 5 minute walk into town and so is very convenient.

Thanks again to Laura and Paul, and keep up the good work!
