Congrats to Andy and Helen. You're providing great value for money and a lovely welcome. A short walk from the centre of the action, this is is great 'boutique hotel' for continental or British travellers looking to explore the wider area or just to enjoy Torkey. Ok my room was quite small, but I've had worse in Paris, Rome or Venice at three times the price! Torkey has a micro climate by the way, so although it might be raining elsewhere in UK, make sure you bring your sun protection. I didn't and paid fot it! All in all, for the price, which included the most superb English Breakfast and free parking, Mr & Mrs Holland and their little gem of a hotel are your best bet for a nice short break on the English Riviera.

Room Tip: Don't book Rooms 5 or 9!

It would help if the amount of steps to reach the front door was stated in the writeup, the hotel owner was very friendly and helpful.

Just stayed here for 4 nights, fabulous hosts, fab location, very clean, excellent breakfast (even full English for Veggies which is rare), loved everything about it. We stayed in the super king bed room with our 3 yr old, it would be nice if it was a little bigger but fit all our luggage. Loading space outside and barrier car park round the corner which is included so great. Can't wait to return, just hope it's next year :-)

My partner and I stayed have just returned home from a 3 night stay. Can not find any fault with it.. we were made very welcome, the room was very nice, fresh and clean. Breakfast was on a par to what we received in 5* Cereal, toast, coffee (excellent), Juice, Full English, fresh fruit etc. Warm host in Andrew, didn't get to meet Helen this time, but we will be returning. We thoroughly recommend it to anyone.

My husband and I stayed at the Hotel Barton for 3 nights over the Easter weekend. I can only say that I wish we could have stayed longer. We arrived earlier than we had expected to, but that wasn't a problem and Andy and Helen were very welcoming. Our room on the ground floor was spotless with a fantastic super kingsize bed. The facilities in the room were excellent too. Breakfast was just great - probably te best we have ever had in a B&B, and it was so nice to have someone who was happy to cook my bacon exactly as I wanted it - that is very very well done! Thank you Helen! We didn't experience any noise at all and it was the best nights sleep I had had in a long time.

We will be back!

Room Tip: Room 3 on the ground floor is great
