Owner description: Welcome to Living Coasts, an all weather attraction, located on Torquay seafront in South Devon, where there’s plenty to see and do: mingle with the playful penguins, get up close to the otters, octopus and seals, and much more. Visit Penguin Beach to walk with the African and macaroni penguins and catch our entertaining feeding time talks.

First time we had visited Living Coast and thought it looked rather small from the outside - but it`s like a tardis! Lots to see and look at, you can also get up close with the penguins so long as you dont touch them. Brilliant attraction, well done. Good for all ages. Pram and wheelchair friendly.

Bit pricey for what's in there, better off going to Paignton zoo

The title says it all, really. If you have kids that pore over the detail of TV wildlife programs you are probably on safe ground. If you don't have kids then a visit might be hard to justify as it's quite expensive and will probably leave you a little 'underwhelmed'. Could be much more!

Yes the scary shark and the luminescent show are a bit of an improvement. The Seahorses always my favourite are divine. Baby rays good but other tanks look a bit empty. The underwater views are mostly empty with murky water and dirty glass and I do hope the penguins cheer up soon - they looked decidedly sad today. Food in restaurant excellent and the shop is still a bit pricey. Entrance fee ok ish.
