We visited on a crisp cold but sunny November day. We had a lovely walk to the Hoe to see the display of Poppy’s by the war memorial and had worked up a good appetite. We clocked Jacka’s on the start of our walk and admired the bread, pastries and cakes in the window.
Great there was table free. We read the board on the wall which was menu and both chose bacon and eggs on toast. When they arrived it was so so much more! The bacon was abundant and crisp without being brittle, the two eggs on top were golden and cooked to perfection. Two cups of flat white which were made with Origin coffee and really hit the spot. A fabulous lunch we will be back very soon.
