Description: This 70 cover restaurant is first class dining with sensational views of Sutton Harbour. This fantastic setting is in the heart of Plymouth's buzzing Barbican. The Glassblowing House is a unique building keeping with the Glassblowing Theme it once was. There is a theatre-style kitchen and the menu changes daily to ensure the freshest food is served from the local area.

Called in on off chance on a Sunday evening after friends recommended - and they were right! I had a platter and wife had the cod. Really light batter on all fish, "real" chips that are continually freshly cooked. The fish was excellent, my squid and octopus tender and the small crab bites really tasty - a real taste of the sea overall. Good service, decent prices, and some non-fish items on menu that prefer four legs to fins. Only criticism is when I order a pint of coke, I do it because I'm thirsty, not because I want half a pint of ice to apply to swollen muscles, with a splash of coke on top. Will definitely go again.

Came here for our works Christmas party. Food was distinctly better than average. Would like to go again as it wasn't a bad experience, just maybe a busy night with 3 parties there.

Great place to have browse around whether it's for a souvenir, gift or something just for the house.

New owners and new name so went here for a meal with friends to see what it was like and it was lush, The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was lovely will be visiting again and again :-). You need to book as they had to turn people away last night as they were busy. I had the scallop and prawn starter and would recommend it and the scampi for main which was lovely and a good size portion, free extra chips if you need them too (i didnt as enough on plate)
