We had a lovely few days at Highcliffe House. It really was absolutely faultless - from the spotlessly clean, comfortable and quiet room with stunning views, to the perfectly cooked breakfasts, the professional but personal service, and the beautiful, tasteful decor. Jason and Neal are the perfect hosts and make guests feel very welcome in their home. I am sure we will be back.

A warm welcome greeted us on our arrival and we couldn’t fault our hosts’ hospitality throughout our short stay. Nothing was too much trouble and there was great attention to detail. Set in a stunning location and great for walkers. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely recommend this bed and breakfast.

Highly recommended!
What a beautiful building, in beautiful surroundings. From the minute we arrived, Neal made us feel very welcome and showed us around. Later on we met Jason, who was also very attentive and welcoming. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble, and both were really helpful with offering advice on local walks, things to do etc.
We stayed in The Cleaves room at the top of the house and can honestly say that i've never stayed in a room like it. The Jacobean bed is huge, and is dressed with plush pillows, duvet and cushions it was so comfy. This room also has a sea view, large modern walk in shower and large wardrobe - with plenty of hangers (I find a lot of B & Bs, don't usually leave many in the wardrobes for some reason?)

Breakfast on both days was fantastic, cooked to perfection and hot! The buffet was plentiful, and all of this is enjoyed in the breakfast room with the most stunning views!

Thank you Neal and Jason for a wonderful stay. We hope to see you again very soon.

Room Tip: The Cleaves and Kipscombe are at the top of the house

This place is amazing! I almost want to keep it a secret, but Jason and Neal deserve every success.
The view is stunning and well worth the zig zag hill ride up.
We stayed in The Cleaves, the room at the top of the house, it was so peaceful and sumptuously decorated, with huge walk in shower and big bed.
Breakfast was all delicious, piping hot and knackered toast (as requested :-))
The den, is a great room to enjoy a nightcap or two, where you can sit back and enjoy the ambience and feel of times gone by - we loved it!
Overall, we can not recommend this place enough and have no hesitation in telling everyone we know and cannot wait to return again for a longer stay!
A big thank you from us for your hospitality and welcome!
Lots of love, till next time, Sam and Eddie x
