“Fabulous Views from the balcony!”
Reviewed 26 July 2015 for a stay in July 2015

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Crowsnest during July. It has spectacular views from the balcony and it was wonderful to enjoy breakfast with a view or sit and chill with a glass of wine and a good book!

The location is close to Tintagel.

We really enjoyed the freedom of being able to walk down the lanes and onto the coastal paths without needing to use the car. The coastal path walks from Crowsnest are all spectacular.

The cottage is exactly as described on the website as a 17th century slate cottage and furnished in the style appropriate. The owners regularly update their website and Facebook page with interesting daily photos of the area and supplied us with lots of information and walks.

There was a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us on arrival and fresh milk in the fridge, which was a thoughtful and lovely touch.

Tony and Carol were friendly and helpful during our stay and always available if we needed them.

“What a view !”
Reviewed 10 July 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This was a last minute booking and not well researched so didn't know what to expect. What a lovely surprise we had. This is a comfortable, cosy cottage with everything you could possibly need on holiday and an incredible view towards Trebarwith Strand.
Tony and Carol were welcoming on arrival and available in the event of problems. Needless to say there were no problems and we had a great week exploring the area. We can highly recommend Crows Nest.

“Better than expected.”
Reviewed 28 June 2015 for a stay in June 2015

When I first walked into the property first impression did not make me go WOW, but after seeing the view it changed every thing, fantastic . As the first few hours past I thought what a great choice we had made, absolutely everything you need is there , bedding all fresh and clean as was all the towels and tea towels. We were welcomed by Tony who showed us how to use the heating ect and said if we needed anything just knock next door where he lived. I was amazed just how well equipped the cottage was even down to a filter coffee machine that I am sorry to say I didn't find until the day before we left ( my fault for not checking all the cupboards.). Bedrooms both clean and bright with plenty of storage space. Kitchen well equipped even down to salt pepper and vinegar in the cupboard, (beware water heater very hot). Bathroom clean and tidy and even has a small hairdryer and hand soap supplied, plenty of hot water for baths and showers. Lounge clean and comfortable plenty of room for four adults, I feel it could be brightened up a little as one wall is wooden panelled and a little dark, but it is a cottage and not meant to look modern. We had the Crows nest which is all the upper floor with a small veranda and a small conservatory over looking the fantastic seaview, great place to have breakfast or sit and read. When we arrived Tony and Carol had left a very nice bottle of wine, tea, coffee, biscuits and milk, what lovely people they are. If you do visit this is very nice and comfortable and you can't go wrong with Crows nest cottage.
Thank you Tony and Carol for a very nice first holiday cottage experience, I am sure you will have many happy customers.
