Really dreadful place, not very clean, absolutely awful food, which we waited an hour and ten minutes for. Whoever is employed to cook here desperately needs some cookery lessons. The staff are unwelcoming, they all seemed stressed out. DO NOT EAT HERE!

The pub garden has great views that look out towards Tintagel Castle, and The Old Church. The food and service was good and to top it all they had a good selection of Cornish Ciders, so I was very happy.

We went to the Wootons for drinks and dinner, all very well presented and excellent value, in the most stunning location. On this evening we were also able to see and listen to a wonderful cello player - a perfect evening in Tintagel, thank you.

Stopped here after walking round the castle. Basic lunch menu but done to a very high standard and sandwiches are the best. Choice of breads, large choice of fillings and huge portions. Lovely staff and a lovely location. Good coffee and deserts looked lovely (although we had no room to eat one!).
