We recently spent 5 nights at Gwithian Watch and feel it deserves its first review on Trip Advisor.

The apartment was both clean and modern. The double en-suite bedroom was just right for the two of us, equipped with a comfy bed, plenty of wardrobe space, a power shower and fluffy, clean towels. The lounge area was spacious and well equipped with wi-fi, flat screen TV, sound system, DVD player and our favourite part... blue spotlights in the floor! Unfortunately the TV continued to turn itself on and off on its own accord so we were unable to watch it - luckily for us the weather was mostly sunny so we didn't spend much time in front of the TV anyway but it would have been nice to have to option. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you would need to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner, plus fresh milk, tea, coffee and Cornish biscuits upon arrival - delicious! The apartment has great views of the sea, which was lovely to wake up to and look at from our bed or on the terrace. The apartment also has its own car parking space, which meant we were able to completely avoid the chaotic St Ives traffic, as the apartment is located just off the one-way on the outskirts of town. It is just a 5 minute (very steep!) walk down to the harbour - the walk back up to the apartment is gruelling however, but good exercise!

Overall, we would definitely recommend staying at Gwithian Watch - it has everything you need for a romantic and relaxing break. We look forward to going back very soon!
