We stayed here for a mid-week break and were really pleased with the location, even though it's very close to the seafront and passing traffic. These old Cornish cottages are well built. I couldn't even hear my neighbours in the houses surrounding the cottage!
We had everything we needed in the well equipped kitchen. Quality flatware, glasses and mugs. Lovely little nick nacks and superb art on the walls, gave it a feel of being in someone's home rather than in a holiday let. Comfortable beds and leather sofa. Brilliant television and strong WiFi signal. Brilliant.
There were fresh scones, cream and jam waiting for us, along with milk for our first cup of tea. You don't get this kind of service, even in a 5 star hotel.
Plenty of hot water, good heating system and no shortage of towels.
What was a really nice surprise was the bottle of bubbly and card for our wedding anniversary. Thank you Derek, very sweet of you. xx
We even got an e-mail and text to ask if everything had been to our satisfaction, were there any improvements that could be made etcetera..?? Now that is what I call service and what a lot of establishments could do well in adopting.
I would highly recommend this property to fellow travellers for a proper Cornish holiday.
Thanks again Derek.
Just got back from a short break in this fantastic cottage. Everything about it was perfect. Spotlessly clean, everything we needed was there. 30 secs walk to the harbour, and a beach within 2 mins walk no matter what way you turned when you come out the door. Can't wait to go back
A very comfortable cosy cottage nice welcome gift of scones/clotted cream tea and coffee. Beach 25 yards excellent pub 25 yards ! Highly recommend
