“You'll keep coming back!”

The property is wonderfully spacious, even when full. Enjoyed by the whole family from youngster to grandparents. As for the views...you'll have to go to fully appreciate those.

“Fantastic Views”
Reviewed 24 May 2015 for a stay in May 2015

We jut got back from a weeks stay and Bay View is fantastic

We arrived to flowers and a good bottle of Rose left for us!

Panoramic views from the private veranda are breath taking, the photo's don't capture just how high up you are or the just how much space is around you.
Port Isaac's main Co-op is 2 min's walk over the road
5 min's walk down hill to Port Isaac's bars and restaurants
Dog friendly with own parking
House has excellent Wi-fi and big flat screen TV which has a USB port in the back which you can plugin Chromecast or similar to watch Netflix, Now TV etc on the big screen.
The house & kitchen are wonderfully well stocked with all kinds of cleaning products, utensils, there are x 2 baths and a walk in shower!

Perfect base to explore the North with Tintagel, Boscastle nearby and even the South with the A30 and Minack Theatre and Lands end all accessible by car. Can't wait to return!

We booked through Cornish Seaview Cottages who were incredibly friendly, helpful and who I would also definitely recommend!

“Comfortable home with lovely views and short walk to attractions of Port Isaac”

A comfortable home with good sized rooms and lovely views from the back. It was a good base for exploring north Cornwall. Port Isaac village centre was just a few steps away with good restaurants. The kitchen was very well-equipped and the beds were very comfortable. Just a few quibbles - the description said there was a games room downstairs - this was a bit of an exaggeration as the games room was just a table football table in a very small room downstairs which had the washing machine & dryer in it. It wasn't furnished or decorated in any other way - just like a small shed. It didn't have a pool table in it, as described and there certainly wasn't room for one in there. Having said that, the table football was extensively used! Also, when we arrived at the property it smelled very musty which was off-putting. I had to get some scented candles to try and dissipate the musty smell and it did go as the week went on, but not entirely.

Many thanks for your valuable feedback, and please accept our apologies for the musty smell you had to endure. This property was empty for a few weeks and obviously wasn't aired properly prior to your arrival. We have advised the caretaker of the issue and going forward will ensure this is actioned when there is a gap between stays. I agree that the description of the ‘games room’ was misleading and apologise for the error. I have amended the description accordingly. We hope that the above issues didn't impair your holiday, and that you enjoyed your time in Cornwall. Kind regards the team at Cornish Seaview Cottages.

“The family said wow!”

The house was as we hoped, clean, modern, bright and spacious, with plenty of space for a large family to holiday. The view never failed to draw us out to the veranda (wow factor). It was lovely to be able to walk down to the village for family meals. Tip order a grocery delivery as the very handy co op runs out of everything. The fridge freezer in the house is nice and large.

How easy was it to book the property? How helpful were the directions to the property?

Liked best: The open space living with a view that never failed to dissapoint.
Liked least: garden had to be cleared of dog mess on arrival.
