This is the 3rd time we have used the Guest Lodge prior to a trip on the Scillonian. We stayed in Room number 1 this time and as usual the standard of cleanliness was excellent, the towels are great quality, lovely and thick and pure white and the facilities ideal for a one night stop over. Unfortunately the hot weather, together with the small window, the heat coming from the fridge and what I can only assume to be a furnace downstairs ! made the room so uncomfortably hot that I would have preferred to have slept outside... on the Promenade ! I Even opening the window to its full extent and leaving it open all night seemed to have no effect. The floor and even the tiles in the bathroom felt warm to the touch. I asked the Reception for the loan of a fan but was told they did not have any. Don't let this put you off staying at the Guest Lodge, but perhaps, if the weather is hot.... ask NOT to put into room 1.

Room Tip: No views, but excellent for the night before embarkation on the Scillonian.

We stayed here in April and weather was starting to get warmer. Only one small window and up high so not much air gets in. Ok for us in April but wouldn't stay here in summer. Small room but otherwise comfy bed and good working shower for reasonable price. Parking is on the street but we had no trouble finding a spot reasonably close by.

This hotel is very central, very cheap a, immaculately clean, great tea and coffee facilities, amazing showers, comfy beds, good sized modern rooms. Painless check in and check out. Would definitely stay here again!!

The room here is lovely, comfortable bed, heater, fridge, own bathroom the staff are lovely it seems to be apart of the hotel next door so you can get breakfast and check I there. They are willing to help and have a chat. Would highly recommend. We stayed the first night they reopened and were told that all the rooms had been done up.

A repeat visit and, once again, we enjoyed a good night at Guest Lodge. Our room, and en suite, was spotlessly clean and comfortable with good Tea and Coffee making facilities. Staff are very helpful and friendly. We enjoyed an excellent dinner in the Beachfield Hotel's Restaurant where Adam looked after us very well indeed. All in a thoroughly good night and we will return.
