We have had Sunday lunch here several times over the last few months. It is excellent value for money. There is usually a choice of meat, pork , chicken, beef, or lamb. More than one offered each week. The vegetables are fresh and about for or five are served. It comes piping hot and served promptly. The drinks are £1 for tea or coffee. Well recommended.

I found this café by chance when I visited Penzance a couple of weeks ago. It is Excellent. I had the Sunday roast pork which was very tasty with lots of fresh vegetables (£4.50). I could have had two courses for £6.50 but was full. I made a point of having lunch there on the Tuesday before returning home. I had the steak and kidney pie (home made) (£5.59/99 - I can't remember) with six different portions of fresh vegetables. Once again it was very tasty. They also offer pots of tea for £1 (I don't drink coffee so cannot say how much they charge for that). It appears to be run by a couple of young men who were working very hard. It's a pity that the poor reviews are left on this site because they are years out of date which is unfair. These young men deserve all the support they can get

Went to Country Cousins for Sunday lunch today and guess what? A choice of meats for a lovely roast with fresh vegetables and a pudding - choice of 3, all for £6.50 - yes where do you get a lunch and pudding for this price - well just off Chapel Street in Princes Street, Penzance.
They also do a great breakfast and of course daily specials and a full menu all at very reasonable prices.
The café has recently been extended and has been refurbished with a change of name to Colyers Café so don't be confused when you get there if the sign outside says "Country Cousins" and also "Colyers Café" it's one and the same place serving the same fab food. Do try it you won't be disappointed.

Best breakfast in Penzance. Just opposite the Exchange Gallery
in Pz this is a proper English breakfast with the works for a very reasonable price.
Friendly service there's even a fishtank with tropical fish for the kids to watch.
And if you can't manage the works, they'll do you a bacon sarni just how you like it.
