“Super House and great facilities with fantastic views.”

Spent a wonderful week here with ages from 2 to 65 and we all found lots to do from crabbing, walking to the beach along the Estuary and visiting the circus. There are good quality play things for younger children both inside and out and plenty of comfortable seats for the adults. Kitchen facilities are good and we used the gas barbecue too. Very good base for any age holiday with lots of places within easy reach.

We travelled as a group of 11, 6 adults and 5 school aged children. The communication and booking the property through the owners was excellent . The house was very clean and tidy and exceeded our expectations. Very spaceous ,well equipped and very homely ,comfy beds as well.
What was great for us was the access to the river at high tide for canoeing, then in contrast being able to walk to crantock beach along the river bed when the tide was out . Then a few steps up the cliff to a well earned lunch and to enjoy waching the surfers fron the Bowgie inn !( need to keep an eye on the tide for the walk back ,although there was a little ferry boat to get back across the river). An easy walk to Fistral beach to body board (however we did take the beach gear down in one car ahead of the walkers). Just a short walk to the town to eat on the odd evening ( or a few drinks for the more social ones!)
All in all a great holiday was had by all, thank you for sharing such a great house.

“Fabulous House In Superb Location”
Reviewed 30 July 2012 for a stay in July 2012

The accomodation exceeded description and expectations, it was a beautiful house which was extremely welcoming every detail had been thought of from the welcoming cream tea to the plentiful amount of childrens toys all the rooms where bright and modern and the standard of cleanliness was fantastic. The poperty was located in a quite cul-de-sac with stunning views across The Gannel within 10 minutes walking distance of Newquay Centre and 5 mins from Fistral Beach. We had a faboulous holiday and look forward to a repeat visit.
