Margaret was a breath of fresh air, not only a friendly welcome but a joy to get too no in the two nights we were there, rooms were clean & tidy plus we had a fantastic view. We will be back. Pete & friends Stoke on Trent

Room Tip: Ask for sea view & book in advance

Great hotel! Stayed here for a few weeks while working away, the owner was very helpful and looked after us far more than expected! The hotel is in a great location, just a few minutes walk from the beaches and town centre

Margaret, Owen and staff are simply the best!! Helpful and friendly from the start. Hotel is in prime position as the beach is a couple of minutes walking in one direction and shops aplenty in the opposite direction. Spacious bar with adjacent lounge area with sea views and comfy settees. Games provided for the kids and books for those wanting to chill and separate spacious lounge with pool table . Rooms were comfortable but do need a little update which Margaret said is in the plans for the winter refurb. Breakfasts were beautiful with a choice of cereal, fruit juice , fresh fruit and full English on the menu and they were happy to do variations according to taste. We were also offered the use of various body boards, balls buckets and spades for our little boy. The beach is ideal for kids and adults alike with cafes and food there too. There are a few family pubs but we found 'the fort to be the best for us as it had an outside play area. All in all just what we wanted for a Cornish family holiday. Thanks again to Margaret, Owen and staff for their hospitality . Wishing them good luck for their future plans for The Minerva...we will certainly be back
