The Rangemaster double oven gas cooker is really great for master chef creations.
The art work found throughout the property is by local artists.
The twin room is great for children when they are ready for a good night's sleep.
We have been told by many guests that our beds are really comfy.
The ensuite kingsize room is great place to escape to and relax on the reclining sofa.
Both kingsize rooms have flat screen TVs,DVD players and hairdryers..
All of our rooms are spacious and decorated to a high standard.
The ensuite bathroom has an electric Mira shower, the best shower on the planet.
Sit out on the enclosed terrace which is a real suntrap in the afternoon and evenings.

“Super view, super clean, great location”
Reviewed 8 April 2016 for a stay in March 2016

Lovely apartment, very clean, good furnishings. Plenty of space for our extended family. Great location with superb views over harbour and walking distance from town and beach. Disappointed no dishwasher or bath in either shower room but this would not stop us returning for another stay.

“Wonderful, welcoming stay”
Reviewed 28 February 2016 for a stay in December 2015

After a long day driving, we arrived at the Captains Reach to a great Welcome from Gaye (The owner). As we walked into the property there was immediately a warm feeling and as it was Christmas, just what we needed and were looking for.
The ample accommodation with large rooms was just what we had been looking for. We took my elderly Mother who needed a room with a bathroom next door, so we were able to give her that
I had the room downstairs with an ensuite. Great size and very comfortable.
The kitchen was very well equipped and as I was cooking christmas Lunch it is juat what we needed. Gaye had even gone and bought a tay to cook the Turkey in for us!!
Another really lovely touch was the cornish Scones and cream that were left for us.
Gaye lives upstairs and every now and then would check to see that we had everything and was happy. Such a caring stay.
Location could not have been better. We had harbour views for our xmas lunch and the town was a five minute walk away!! Perfect in every sense
tHANK YOU gAYE

“A lovely house”
Reviewed 19 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

We had a great time in Falmouth staying at Captains Reach. Gaye, who lives in the flat upstairs, gave us a warm welcome when we arrived and we really appreciated the cream teas after our long journey. The apartment was beautifully clean and had everything that we needed. You have to descend many steps to get to the town which has fantastic bars and restaurants.

“Exceptional property for a Falmouth holiday”
Reviewed 19 February 2016 for a stay in February 2016

The owner provides an excellent standard of decor, furnishings and attention to detail to make this a fantastic base for a holiday in the beautiful seaside town of Falmouth. We were welcomed with a tour of the property and some delicious scones and Cornish clotted cream. The view from the property is stunning on a sunny morning and can even be seen from the kitchen while preparing breakfast. We only stayed 3 nights, but facilities like the washer and dryer would have made a longer stay very easy. The entertainment system makes a wet day less of a problem, with plenty to do in the house if you don't want to venture out. We used the quick route into the town, down the steps almost immediately in front of the house, several times and also found it a great way to keep fit returning up! There are more gradual route choices! Parking can be a little bit of a challenge, if you need to use the car to visit outside of Falmouth, but we never had to park more than about 20 metres away. Falmouth is a delightful town with many individually run shops and restaurants as well as the large TragoMills that seems to sell just about anything you can think of at very reasonable prices. There is a beautiful walk around the headland, taking in Pendenis Castle and running down along the beautiful Gyllyngvase (Gully) beach. We will definitely be returning.
