My family and I stayed for one night (we had booked 2 rooms but had the choice of 3) whilst visiting family during the Xmas week. We found the owners to be very professional and very helpful. The rooms were very clean and tidy and had everything we needed. Breakfast was fantastic using top quality ingredients. The town centre was a little noisy as we walked back to the Inn but this didn't mater as a peaceful night sleep was had by all because the Inn is nicely positioned, just 2 minutes walk from the town centre.

There is a little parking suitable mainly for drop off, though, I did notice some cars parked overnight behind the Courts building. We parked over the river in a nice residential area (10 min walk).

We will be coming back.

Room Tip: Didn't see any signs of facilities for disabled, eg, access

great pub
bands on every Saturday night - but who sets up the speakers / sound you can not hear the singer its just noise
the sound from the speakers sounds like its from sashio speakers from the 80s

please get someone who knows what they are doing for the bands or get someone to stand 15 / 20 feet away and listen to a test song / sound quality

way to loud and awful noise its a shame because i have herd some of the bands in other venues and they are good - singers / musicians.

Booked a couple of nights here for a break and a visit to Chester. Lovely place, room cosy and spotlessly clean, private bathroom and toilet just across the (private) small landing. Felt homely.
Staff were lovely, especially the young man who took us to our room and served us later. Breakfast was awesome! Beautifully cooked Full English, generous portion sizes ++. Other half had veggie alternative which was reportedly equally as nice. Other choices of food available, hard to pass up on such a lovely FE though. Wifi free and no problems with that.

We were lucky it was quiet the days we stayed so we had a few quiet beers in the bar at night. Again lovely service. In truth can’t fault the place itself. Very close to town centre (5mins walk). Only negative was the lack of parking at the hotel, nearby car park available but possibly awkward at certain times of the day. Enjoyed our stay, many thanks to staff, highly recommend.

What a lovely night again in the Saddle Inn live music and pub open till 2.30am breakfast very good ,bed room I stayed in number 4 is the largest in the Inn room nice and warm
I would recommend if you like pubs instead of hotels this is the one to stay in Chester easy walking in to town and the racecourse for party's , the only down fall is no parking so have to use public car parks which are just down the main road .....
