“Excellent...Very Modern and clean”
Reviewed 25 March 2010 for a stay in March 2010

We had a brilliant stay in the No1 early villa. Thoroughly enjoyed it, It is in such a central location, just 1 minute walk from the town.
The apartment was very clean and welcoming and much bigger than we anticipated. Cinema room is fab and a good selection of films already there for you!
Would definitely come back here.

We stayed in the appartment for 3 nights and found it to have everything that we wanted and we really enjoyed our stay in Chester. The location was very central and convenient. We found the beds to be very comfortable and we enjoyed the cinema room. It had everything that we needed/wanted for a few days break

“Ideal accommodation for young family”
Reviewed 10 March 2010 for a stay in March 2010

Was on a course close to Chester, and decided it would be an ideal opportunity for the wife and 4-month old daughter to join me. When looking at accommodation, Earls Villa ticked all the right boxes and more. With a young child that is in quite a good sleep pattern, a hotel room just would not have provided the flexibility and space that Earls Villa could.
The location to the town centre was superb for the wife and daughter for seeing a Chester. The wife was a bit upset as the layout of some of the shopping areas in the town is not ideal for prams, so a bit of a blessing there I think.
Booking was easy, and everything that you needed to know pre-arrival was provided by Toby in email well before our arrival. So accessing the villa was a simple, and we were more than impressed with the facilities that were available within the villa. Some we did get the use of (travel cot, high chair etc.) and others we didn't get the chance (mountain bikes, cinema room etc.).
In terms of cost, if 2 couples were to use the villa for a break this would be far cheaper than a local hotel and provides greater home comforts than any hotel could offer. Highly recommend Earls Villa and next time we come, hopefully I'll get more of an opportunity to see Chester.

“Nice self catering apartment well located for visiting Chester.”
Reviewed 24 February 2010 for a stay in February 2010

The apartment is over four floors so is not for those with mobility problems. It is well located near the canal and very close to Chester centre. The quality of the accommodation is good and it is well equipped. The Home Cinema on the top floor is a bonus - great for watching films in the evening or when the weather's poor.

Just two minutes away by the canal is the excellent real ale pub Harkers, also serves good food.

“A home from home in Chester”
Reviewed 2 February 2010 for a stay in January 2010

This house is very well placed, by the canal within walking distance of the centre of Chester and even closer to several good pubs and restaurants. The accommodation is modern and comfortable with everything you need to hand. It has all the necessary toys including 2 mountain bikes, free WiFi, flat screen TVs in all rooms and a home cinema. It was very clean and is really well equiped with all sorts of useful stuff that many rental houses don't provide which helps to make the place feel like a real home straight away.
