Worth House is definitely a fantastic place to stay. Guido and Maria are very friendly and accommodating. The room was tastefully decorated and very comfortable. There were many extras in the room such as bathrobes, toiletries, biscuits and a tea/coffee maker. The room was spotless and the bed very comfortable. The breakfasts are delicious with both hot and cold options. With the comfort of a home away from home, we would definitely recommend staying here.

Worth House is located happily just a quarter of an hour's pleasant walk across the river into the wonderful city of Cambridge. Buses provide a quicker means at under £5 daily return per person at a very nearby stop on Chesterton Road, so this B&B enjoys perhaps a little less traffic than somewhere more central.
I mentioned the walk at the beginning, simply because our lovely hosts Guido & Maria make it their job to ensure that you do not leave without having as much breakfast as you can eat !!
We only took the full English the middle morning of our 3-night stay, opting for either Croissants or toast the other mornings (you get to work your own personal table-top toaster here!!). However, the cooked breakfast was great.
You cannot fault the copious fare available each day from fresh fruit salad, yoghurts, dried fruits & nuts, cereals, a wealth of preserves. Cooked breakfasts can be tailored to your desire. Guido has that playful Italian sense of humour that has you giggling like children at times! Having been bought up on a street with many Italians and Sicilians, I had forgotten the jocular ribbing that comes naturally from these guys and, being within this industry too, the repartee instantly places you at ease and puts Worth House as highly recommended for those who are novices at staying within peoples homes, rather than the more sterile Hotel atmospheres.
Its the personal touch.

Our bedroom (#1) was warm, comfortable and well-equipped with good flat screen TV, hot drinks facility, biscuits, toiletries, free wi-fi, etc.
A tiny gripe may be that the towels were too small and not generous at doing what towels are supposed to do !

Whilst this is not a house oozing luxuries and refinement, it is very clean and the rooms are pleasantly well decorated. We also considered our £90 per night tariff to be very reasonable and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Worth House for anyone wishing to visit this charming and beautiful city.

Room Tip: Room #1 was located to the rear of the building so there is potentially less traffic noise, although there wasn't too much here anyway!

We travel a lot, and rarely have we had a warmer, friendlier experience than at Worth House. Guido put us immediately at ease and with his playful humor had us instantly laughing. Maria produces delicious breakfasts. We stayed in room #1, which was a pretty spacious triple by B&B standards. Quiet, comfortable, an abundant supply of toiletries. These guys tick all the boxes.

We were made very welcome at Worth house by the Host Guido.
The room was spacious and clean, and we slept very well.
There was a huge choice of food for breakfast and I enjoyed the full cooked breakfast.
We plan to return again.

A fantastic B&B with great hosts.
The room was perfect and had a luxurious feel. Quality bed, furniture and finish.
Super soft towels, gowns, slippers and an "Emergency Box" for the items you forget to pack.
Breakfast was freshly cooked to order and set me up for the day ahead.
Why pay for a hotel when you can get hotel suite style from this great B&B.
Stayed in the Deluxe Double Room - Room 3.
We walked into the city centre (15mins) and got the bus back - Route 2.
Ate dinner at the Old Spring Pub, just 5 mins walk. Great food and real ales.

Room Tip: Room 3 - roll top bath and lovely furnishings
