Whilst I was on a budget and have previously stayed before. The area around the station has now finished with the much needed development, although still busy. I chose a single room, small and compact, lots of stairs, but service friendly and helpful. TV in my room signal not so good. But it was clean and met my needs.

Probably very nice a few years ago. Everything in the room was loose and ready to fall off. Only half a toilet roll in the bathroom.
Shower was disappointing. No pressure and quite dirty.
Sleep quality was ok. Bed was comfy and clean.
It was good enough for one night.

Room was small but comfortable, bathroom tiny. Bed was comfortable and was a fairly decent nights sleep. Oil the front door would be my advice, as any late entrants could be heard through the hotel as the door squeeked so much. In fairness though, good location and good value. Tea and coffee facilities in the room all good, but actual tea spoons would be nice rather than wooden sticks.

Not wanting to pay through the nose for a one night stay in Cambridge, we opted for a slightly cheaper hotel. The pictures on the website look nice and it does have a boutique hotel feel to it. The reception was welcoming and they did allow us to check in nearly an hour early. The room was warm and clean, although the decoration was all a bit shabby. The bathroom especially was dated and tired: the shower was pretty rubbish. £95 for the night (for the room only) plus an extra charge of £15 for parking ended up being overpriced for what it was. I think that either breakfast/parking (or both) should be included for that price, then perhaps customers might find it better value for money and leave higher ratings.
