Stayed here with two friends as it was central for us all. Aware when booked that parking was limited so rang the day before to ask for suggestions of where to park. Advised on street parking for a pound an hour which it transpired was actually 60 pence for 10 minutes. Close to station so better for travelling by train.
Room comfortable enough and clean but bathroom tiny. The space between the corner bath and the sink and toilet was so small that anyone over a size 12 would not have been able to wash.
Dining room well set out with plush chairs. Eclectic buffet breakfast of traditional sausage, beans, mushrooms etc as well as lemon meringue pie, baked cheesecake and apple tart. Helpful friendly waitress at breakfast but surly reception staff.
Appreciate the slippers left on the beds but only one bottle of water to share between three of us.More
