The Moller Centre
Reviewed 5 April 2017

Hotel:
Stayed one night here and it was lovely.
- The staff are the highlight and genuinelly helpful and extremly attentive.
- The room itself is spacious, has TV+molten brown toiletteries, complimnetary water+milk+tea
- Large bed and working area
- The shower is amazing
- Iron in the room provided
- The full breakfast is truly delicious
- Halal options in the evening (but I think this has to be pre arranged)
- Views overlooking green is nice
- Charging plug points also cater for different plugs (global)

Bad points
- Tooth bush and paste would have been nice
- Both kinds of veggie sausages for breakfast are disgusting
- Halal meat options in the morning would have been nice
- £12-£14 taxi ride from the station.

Room Tip: Try to get a room NOT on the ground floor

Visited the Moller Centre at Churchill college for a three day conference for entrepreneurs. Works very well. Excellent breakfast, lunch and dinner. Rooms are decent enough and look out onto playing fields and plenty of green grass. All very well maintained and the conference facilities are also very good. Clear acoustics with or without amplification. No complaints at all. Been twice now and will come again. Very reachable from the M11 and from Cambridge train Station

The room is what I expected, nothing more, nothing less. Bathroom is quite small... not sure why there was a rocking chair in my room! 15 minute brisk walk to the city centre, or a short taxi journey.

My company paid £120 per night, I think if you are involved in a university event you can get a better rate. Booked quite last minute... with more time I am sure you could find more for your money. Nice bar area... good breakfast... lots of parking which is a bonus!

The other reviews are baffling. This is a newish, but otherwise glorified student dorm. The price is outrageous for stained carpets and IKEA+ furniture. Much cheaper options abound in Cambridge.

The staff are very courteous and the food is of good quality.

Thank you for taking the time to comment on our venue, I am sorry you that you feel this way. In response to your comments it may interest you to know the design of the building is Danish and therefore, most of our furniture is of authentic Scandinavian design, which includes many Hans J. Wegner pieces.

In 2016 we went through a full refurbishment of our bedrooms, including the replacement of all carpets so we were surprised that you came across carpets with stains. If we could reassure you that our housekeeping team are thorough in the service they provide and would have addressed any issues such as this if they are made aware. We pride ourselves on the service we offer and consider our rates to be very competitive with other 4 and 5 star establishments within Cambridge.

Should you return to Cambridge, we would be happy to address these concerns in person.

We've stayed at the Moller Centre during our university's residential, and we have had a great time! Rooms were clean and comfortable, with all the necessary (bathrobe, electric iron etc.) for our stay.

Plus, the restaurant and the study centre have both offered tasty and delicious meals for lunch and dinner.

I genuinely recommend this structure!

Room Tip: I recommend the rooms overlooking the campus park area
