Great hotel, lobby is trendy, you have to stand about for a while while you wait on the girls in red shirts to come to you but that’s fine, Patricia checked us in and was lovely, very friendly and informative. live singer at night which was unexpected but good, beds comfy and rooms nicely designed. Love that you can boil your own eggs at breakfast and they have egg timers to make it easier for preference! very good idea as most hotels only offer pre boiled hard eggs! Overall a great trendy hotel with friendly staff!

I booked 4 twin rooms for myself and six friends.
The hotel is right next to the train station ,conveniently placed for taxis access as well
The hotel is modern ,decor is comfortably with a bar and restaurant area along side soft seating .
Are rooms were well equipped,bright and clean.
Are first night we used the bar and ate pizzas very good and not over priced , also live music playing if you wanted to you could have stayed all night , we choose to venture to a piano bar called De Luca ( fun place great cocktails)
Morning saw us try breakfast, it was great .
We all said how much we liked hotel , staff all very friendly and I will return as I have more to see in Cambridge and due to the fact some young friends own and run Restaurant 22 ( again check it out if you are looking for a superb dining experience, but book well in advance)

As you walk in this hotel is different, with no reception area, just some (in fact very helpful) staff hanging around in a pizza restaurant. Yes it’s edgy and different, but frankly it’s a bit odd. The room decor follows the same principle.

But the plumbing is a complete disaster! £200 is a lot of money for a night of listening to loud gurgles, whooshes and tank filling noises. I was on the top floor (5) of the hotel so I can’t blame the rooms above. What were they thinking of? It was the worst night’s sleep in a hotel that I’ve had in a very long time.

Stayed for one night and chose hotel because of its location. Quick and easy check in and we were soon in our double room. Room quite small but had all the usual necessities. Bathroom again small but with good shower, but we were a bit surprised that there was only 1 hand towel and 1 bath towel for 2 people. We had pizza and salad in the cafe both of which were great, if a bit pricey. The buffet breakfast was extensive and plentiful. All the staff throughout the hotel were friendly , efficient and helpful.
