Owner description: We The Curious was previously known as At-Bristol Science Centre; an educational charity with an aim to “make science accessible to all”, it opened in 2000, and welcomed over 5 million visitors in the past 17 years. At-Bristol relaunched as We The Curious in September 2017, with a new vision that is committed to creating a culture of curiosity. We The Curious is an idea and a place for everyone. Our venue on Bristol’s harbourside is a bit like an indoor festival, with all sorts of different experiences, where you can interact with exhibits, test stuff out and participate rather than just visit. We’re all about empowering everyone to ask questions and get creative - with boundaries removed between science, art, people and ideas - a culture of curiosity.

What a fab day! So much to do! Can't wait to go again! Staff were amazing and kids were kept busy all day and enjoyed every bit of it! Went with 8,6,2 and baby we all had a fantastic day and will be visiting again soon! Really enjoyed coming home and watching back all the stuff we enjoyed in the day!

What I love about modern museums nowadays is the fact they engage with every single person who walks through the doors...and inspire every child even for those who think they're not interested. At Bristol has made Science in all its components fun and quirky and you get a real sense and purpose of our world around us ...without the boring bits. Thank goodness we have moved on from the dull, rigid museums we used to have, with acres of musty reading in order to learn.
The price is reasonable for admission compared to other attractions and there is so much to do and see - plan your trip accordingly so you don't miss out.

The only sad part is its situated in Bristol - a hefty hour and half away by car for us, so its a day spent planning the outing rather than walking to the museum. Once here, you do have the lovely harbourside with eateries and take out food on your doorstep, so you can refuel before or after!

We as a family visited a few months ago to get out of the rain. I have only ever visited London centres before this so didn't expect this to be as good. This place was really well laid out with a good cafe and polite helpful staff. There is so much to see and we went round in 4 hours, had a coffee then went round again.

Took some visiting family members to At Bristol and it was fantastic, so much to do, could easily spend a whole day wandering round the exhibits.
Lovely cafe too for a spot of lunch.
Had fun at the foody photo booth and learned lots about science that we never knew before.
Great for all the family.

Took my son on Monday as he had an inset day hoping it would be quiet, but it was full of school parties. He still got a chance to try everything he wanted though. Great fun interactive centre, loved the giant bubbles. Part of the downstairs section was shut off, assume it was being updated. Some of the exhibits have been there for a long time, but great fun for a few hours.
