Clearly can’t cook. Burger I’d be embarrassed to serve to a young child. Overcooked fish & cold chips. Complained and response was... “we had complaints about food yesterday too... I’ll let the manager know, but I can’t do anything” (£58 for two crap meals and 4 drinks). It’s always the bad attitude that results in a TripAdvisor complaint. Avoid. Dreadful. Wish I had a photo!!

We recently had a poor experience at the Anglers with our Sunday Roast, in a way of an apology from the manager Anthony he invited us back as guests to try the food again. We visited last night to take up the offer and we have to give praise for the food and the experience which we were offered. 4 adults and 2 children tasted all 3 courses and we had absolutely no complaints to make, the food was tasty and we would 100% go back and eat there again. Thank you Anthony for the gesture, it was defiantly worth coming back to restore our faith in your food.
