What a fine combination of tastes !. Well experienced chef Jordi, never seems to fail, and always finds the perfect taste complements. Also, excellent value for money with seasonal dishes made from local fresh produce.

In a small village in the middle of nowhere - follow the satnav to parking 20 metres from the restaurant. The place is beautiful - a fantastic old rectory that has been tastefully restored with lots of old stone, tiles and crisp linen. The owner is v welcoming and speaks good French and English.
I was on my own and fancied a decent lunch - I saw they had a menu at 20€ online. But when I arrived it was the last weekend of the truffle menu at 45€ and I couldn't resist. Let me say by the end I was forced into submission by truffles....it was a tour de force that would cost 2 or 3 times the price in France for that quality of decent truffles. The dishes were genuinely creative - truffles paired with tea, salt cod, artichokes, sweetbreads, prawns, broad beans....most pairings worked extremely well and were beautifully presented.
This place is outstanding value based on what I ate, and in food terms worthy of a star. The service was charming, but perhaps needs to chill out a little and let people take their time, and judge each table on their own requirements.
Wine list is not bad, not expensive and has some good Spanish wines, but needs more decent wines by the glass (there was no choice for by the glass).

We stayed at La Rectoria for two nights. Our stay there was great. The area is beautiful and the B&B is clean, cozy, and very welcoming. The dining was absolutely fantastic, exceeding our expectations. Make sure to go there and have a full dinner because it was unforgettable!

Drove down a quiet road, not sure of the way, but got to this little village and it was worth any driving, any detour!! Perfect in every way, presentation, beautiful setting, exceptional service, great food, excellent wine, menu of day was phenomenal, esp. considering the price.....19.50 euros plus a bit for espresso afterwards, plus a generous tip, for the wonderful waiter.
And they even give you a menu which is hand written in English. It is in Michelin guide, but we heard of it as it was recommended by the lady at our local bodega in llano where we are renting a little house.
Wish we could go there every day of our stay. Definitely on our list of musts.
