The drive into Watson Lake doesn't leave one with high expectations for overnight accommodation. However, the "Nice Motel" offers a delightful suite of room appointments normally found at premium hotels. My room came with a stocked kitchenette, very comfortable bed, and several design cues that lent a welcoming air to the suite.
My only real complaint was that the sound proofing was poor, and while my neighbors turned off their TVs at a reasonable time, this could become problematic if adjoining guests were less kind. Also, the temperature was difficult to control and my room was rather hot.
Considering the location of this motel, and the alternative choices, it really is a very 'nice' choice and I'd highly recommend it to travelers.More
