Reviewed 8 April 2012

Excellent after a day on the slopes. We got the cheese fondue AMD it was comparable to one in Switzerland.

“If you love fondue this is the place to go”
Reviewed 18 March 2012

I love fondue
It is a small rustic place ( yes do make reservations )
Pleasant staff and they bring you a complimentary welcome drink and the kids got a Shirley temple which was a nice touch.
We started with cheese fondu bread and cold cuts- huge portions half would
Have been enough. So
Good. Then we had the beef tenderloin chicken potatoes veggies and salad. We chose the home made vegetable broth fondu which was wonderful ( u can also do the oil or wine) we could not finish half but so good. It is silly that it comes w rice and two kinds of potatoes and salad we didn't touch most of that. But we did save room for the chocolate fondu w strawberries bananas and kiwi a perfect sweet end. If you are a fan of fondue this is the place to go !

“It's a tradition classic at the resort since the opening!”
Reviewed 2 March 2012

Best fondues & raclettes at the resort! Friendly staff!
Expensive (but cheese is!) You'll bring the smell of the cheese on your clothes as souvenirs of a good hearthy meal as well!
But it's worth it!!!
Enjoy!

“Tourist rip-off”
Reviewed 25 February 2012

My 2 teenage kids and I went to La Savoie for dinner and were very disappointed. We had lived near that region of France for several years and we love the food - fondue, raclette, pierrade. La Savoie was not at all authentic. Even in the most expensive and touristy areas of Chamonix you can get a much better meal for half the price. It was overpriced and all the diners are treated like stupid tourists. The pierrade was not prepared at all how it should be. The meat was fine quality, but everything was cut wrong, the steaks were huge pieces, at least 5 times what they should have been. There was hardly any duck and it was cut in big chunks rather than slices. There were no french fries, and I have no idea why they gave us rice, which I've never seen served with pierrade. The people next to us had broccoli with their fondue though, which was even weirder, and even their bread was cut wrong (into little tiny pieces that they couldn't even put on the fork). It's too bad, since a good fondue place that makes money by selling quality simple well prepared savoyard food at a reasonable price would be perfect in Tremblant, rather than this place that just wants to rip-off tourists. We would never go back and would not recommend.
