This restaurant is in East Sooke, a place not on the beaten track but might be paired with a hike near Aylard Farm at the park. It is a funky West Coast vibe spot with absolutely superb food. The service was great and both cooking and service were thoughtful to the needs of the client. The home made ice cream is a treat. You can order different flavours by the scoop! We had kahlua and peanut butter scoops. Trust the chef and try it all.
They are only open in the summer with October being the closing time. Once you find it and go, you'll wonder why you aren't a regular. Thursday is open microphone night apparently, and the local stars entertain. It's supposed to be really fun. The location is on Becher Bay, so you have water views if you sit out on the covered deck. There is so much to see! There is so much to try on the menu! This is a do-not-miss adventure.
