Lots of authentic buildings, interesting things to walk around and see. Very beautiful at

“Interesting day out.”
Reviewed 27 July 2012

Relaxing place to visit while in Burnaby, and fairly easy to get to from where we were staying on Kingsway. As a suburb of Vancouver, it's an ideal location for a Family stay.

“Step into the past...”
Reviewed 26 July 2012

Burnaby Village Museum is a well appointed, interesting stop of interest whether you are a tourist to the area or a local. Step into the past as you stroll the streets and peek into the houses and shops. Staff in period costume definately add to the atmosphere1 This is one of my favourite attractions in Vancouver to bring visitors to, especially those who are intersted in local history. Wear comfortable shoes!

“What a pleasant experience”
Reviewed 21 July 2012

There was no fee when we visited. What a pleasant surprise, from the lush landscaping, the recreated historic buildings, the volunteers who were dressed for their historic setting, the free ride through "town" in the Model-T. Many of the building interiors brought back memories of when/where I grew up. The merry-go-round is a DON'T MISS attraction. We spent three hours enjoying the buildings and talking to the re-creators who staffed several of the buildings. Great attraction.

“Burnaby Now and Then”
Reviewed 18 July 2012

Great attraction portraying lower mainland life in the late 1800s and early 1900s. Several open shops and regular blacksmith demonstrations. Also visit the historic carousel located on the grounds.
