My wife took me there last night for our anniversary and suggested we should try the halibut. Absolutely the BEST ever. The rice and veggies were also delicious. We shared Lobster Spring rolls for an appetizer and it to was incredible. And yes..desert...sticky cake...leaves you wanting to lick the plate.

Visited 3 times since last August and each time it’s been nothing short of fantastic.

All members of our parties which total 12 different people all raved about their dining experience. Many different items selected all got the same high praise, the chowder and the mussels were highly praised and all friends would recommend either one. For mains we ordered a variety. Steak, Salmon, Fish and crazy good chips, Honey and Garlic Spate Ribs are worth returning for. I have yet gotten around to their great selection of Lobster, but all reports rank it way up there in quality...

The deserts I managed to stay away from but drawled over those around me, friends were quick to want to share as they raved about the uniqueness and flavour..

The Lobster Pound and More is now at the top of my list as go to places for dining out.. try it you will not be disappointed..

It’s difficult for me to recommend dishes as I would be doing an injustice to those I skipped.

May you come from the ferries, may you come by cruise ship, may you come by RV, car or truck, you MUST stop for a bite to eat at this restaurant. All the food was prepared with fish ingredients by a creative chef. The fenouille salad was topped by the chef vinaigrette giving in a fresh and unique flavor. Les "moulles & frites" was exceptional with the mussels extremely fresh and the fries extra crisp and the accompanying chef's confection giving the whole dish its own unique and complex flavor. The same can be said of the but what was even more exceptional was the maple glazed back ribs. The smoky maple flavor melted in your mouth when the meat came off easily from the bone. Certainly a Chef's special to select when available. The beer and wine list was limited but the choices offered accompanied he meal very well. We topped the meal with a creme brulee that was one of the best we had. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive rounding up this exceptional experience. Definitely a you Must Go to this charming and extremely well decorated restaurant right by the ocean, if you are in the region. You may also, as we did , buy some of the wild flower honey grown by the owner. We certainly did after sampling it.

We are serious foodies and this was by far the best meal we had on our entire trip to Nova Scotia. The restaurant owner's personality and quirky sense of humour made our evening very entertaining and the food was perfectly cooked. We shared a shrimp dish with peanut sauce and a halibut dish. Both were superb. The veggies were simply done but delicious. We look forward to returning to this restaurant on our next visit out east. We recommend this place to anyone looking for some really good seafood.
