One of the top Chinese restaurants in town. Dim Sum is great with quite a few unique dishes. We had their top sea food set dinner with just under 16 lbs of Alaska King Crabs (2) and a 5 lbs lobster. The King Crabs were prepared in 3 different ways in 3 dishes; all were absolutely delicious. Excellent service. The restaurant just had an expansion and has quite a few separate dining rooms, hence low noise levels and privacy. Great place for fine Chinese dining.

We have been to this 10 year old restaurant a few times when we visited Toronto , Dim Sum lunch always packed . Four of us came to dinner, greeted by hostess , and directed to a medium size round table with white table cloth. The place is bright and pleasant. . On a Friday evening 80 perecent filled ,more customers hidden in the private dinning rooms . Competition is keen in Markham area ,have to be superb to survive . 90 percent customers are Chineses tonight . Alaska king crab in season ,all12 the tanks near the entrance occupied by these crustaceans, must be close to 100 of them , 50 Canadian a lb , a crab can cost up to 500 dollars , prepared in 6 ways . The hostess tried to push this dish , but one of us is allergic . We had instead , Peking Duck 2 ways ( very well prepared , carved in front , skin crispy and yummy ) , steamed HK Style live black ocean grouper ( 2 Lbs , showed us live fish , slight over cook ) , winter mellow soup ( while mellow steamed with clear broth made up of mixtures of goodies , best dish tonight ) , taro leaves as veggie ( new to me , like watercress but tougher in texture ) , soy sauce chicken ( superb , moist , tasty and not over cook ) , excellent hot almond and sweet potatoe soup for desert. We over ordered as my local host took a few left over items home . We did not have wine . The servers very polite and professional. This is a relatively expensive place , the ingredients and style of cooking are high end , you will, pay more in HK !! We had fun and enjoyed this dinning experience ( we took our time 3 hours dinner) Plan to be back

Father's Day dinner. Found live cockroach on table, probably came with plates, as it was not there in the beginning.
Quietly notified the manager (not a waitor) he just looked at it, picked it up with napkin and there was no acknowledgement or apology at all, and he just walked away as if nothing has happened.
What kind of restaurant manner is this?

I've been to this restaurant more than 20 times, as it's fairly close to where I live. It's more expensive than typical Chinese restaurants, but I think it's one of the best Chinese restaurants (if not the best) in GTA.

It's a great place for dim sum lunch, on the order sheet, you can pick the recommended dim sums, which usually can't find elsewhere.

For dinner, it really depends on what you order, but the set dinner is usually quite good. This restaurant is where my foodie father hosts his birthday parties in the last few years. As for service, I would say in general, the service standard for Chinese cuisine is not comparable to that of other cuisine. I think their service is pretty good and friendly.
