The staff were wonderful. We had booked the day before and the young man at the desk said he would get us a table by the window for the next night. He did and left us a text to confirm. Im sorry I didn't get his name. When we showed up we were given two glasses of champagne on the house. Tiggy was our waitress and she was awesome. Very attentive, even sharing with us some travel tips to Vietnam. It was a very special dinner with a great view of the mountains and Thank you Tiggy for your care and attention.

The ambiance of this restaurant cannot be beat, in my opinion. The lunch menu was ample and the prices moderate. Service was friendly and quick. Location is right on main street, no dedicated parking.

What a wonderful experience ..starting with a pre dinner cocktail to our dining experience!
The views are gorgeous, the staff delightful and attentive, and we were all very happy with our dinner selections. My first time having elk steak...yummy!
The managers checked on us also to see how we were doing...
Thank you for creating a memorable experience for our last got in Canmore!

Located in the second floor the restaurant has large windows on two sides giving great views of the mountains surrounding Canmore. The decor is modern with a touch of rustic - using lots of wood and some stone. It’s very inviting though the materials do make it a bit loud when the place filled up - though the lack of background music really helped.
The service was friendly and efficient.
But the reason to come is the food. They have an excellent kitchen. We chose the Caesar salad (excellently seasoned and not too big), the calamari (perfectly tender in a light batter) and the salmon tartare (as good as I’ve tasted anywhere - with some yam chips) as appetizers.
For the mains we chose the lamp chops with a berry reduction (though I liked the chops they were cooked more than they normally would be for those who expect lamb to be served no more than medium rare), the scallop linguine (was just right with the pasta being just a bit past al dente with a cream sauce that was perfectly able to handle some pepper for taste) and the final main was an organic salmon (beautifully presented but cooked a touch too long as it was starting to lose it’s lustre - but still tasty with the chosen miso sauce).
Yes we did have room for dessert. The gelato that was requested was not available so the manager made good on that by offering a selection of two that they had - the vanilla was tasty using natural ingredients. The disappointment was the brûlée - a chocolate and orange. The sugar on top was too thick - almost a brittle and had to be taken off the dessert. The amount of sugar used needed a lot more heat to melt it, so the brûlée itself was starting to get warm and some to the mixture was starting to get “runny” . Taste was fine but consistency was off
All in all a good experience.

There were 4 of us. We all received excellent meals and the service was supurb. Would recommend to everyone. Prices were moderate, but comparable to most restuarants in Canmore.
