If you are closer to Kensington market in downtown, there is no shortage of good food and coffeeshops with creative ambiance. But if you are in Richmond hill or closer to highway 7 quality options are limited. Hidden behind the Hilton garden hotel, with Tasty custard pastry, good coffee and clean feel these guys are unique and differentiate from the bars and restaurants north of highway 7.

A friend bought over dessert and I was like... You got that in Richmond Hill???
The presentation looks great but the thumbs up was given when I tasted the chocolate bomb. The toasted white and black sesame on the rim of the base gave it a unique texture.

They only open till 6 or 7 ) depends on the day, so you might not have any selection at the end of the day. So go early!

I have been by this place many times and never had a chance to drop in but finally did. First off, the bakery is really clean and you can see the bakers making the pastry by hand. You have a lot of options to choose from and everything looks great. I had a chocolate pastry and my friend had an apple pastry. Both were amazing. We both had an Americano, and it's much better than the ones I have at Starbucks. If you are in the area, drop in and treat yourself.

Title says it all. Come here for the not too sweet Matcha Latte, fluffy Crossiant and not overly sugary Mont Blanc. Seating is limited and they are always busy on weekends. If you are hoping to get their more popular items, arrive when they open. Prices are reasonable considering there is nothing like this in the area. Their Yuzu Citron cake is also a delicious delight.

This small, modernistic and cozy place offers some of the best French pastries in the GTA. Owner/Pastry chef was once main pastry chef for the iconic ' Rahier ' in Leaside.... hence the great and high standard product offerings. Amazing croissant that could rival some of Paris best! Ever changing display of new and gorgeously design and conceived cakes and pastries. Perfect and not overly sweet like some of its ' heavy handed ' peers
