At Check-in, the clerk seemed more focused on helping an attractive guest than to check me in - the Manager 'saw' the situation (CCTV?) and quickly arrived to get things moving.
The rooms all seem very old (both layout and decor); but mine was very clean.
The breakfast area (inc the outside seating) is too small for the typical occupancy but the food area is well maintained.
"Chunky" (Front Desk) was very helpful with getting my Boarding Card printed.
Despite the age of the property, it is a very convenient location - I would stay there again if in the area.

Room Tip: Ask for Ground Floor; the upper level does not have an elevator (only external stairs.

This is the absolute worst hotel/motel I have ever stayed in. It started with a call on the day we arrived asking if we could check in early. The person who answered the phone simply said it was policy that they don't allow early check in. He didn't bother to check if any rooms were available. The desk help was very unhelpful verging on rude throughout our stay. We stayed for just over a week. The room was dingy, the bathroom fan sounded like it was going to fall out of the ceiling and the toilet leaked water all over the floor. The room had a kitchenette but only 2 drinking glasses were provided. Room cleaning included only making the bed. Once that wasn't even done. One time the towels were taken and only one was left, another time, no toilet paper was left.The room was not vacuumed nor was the bathtub cleaned through the time we were there. The breakfast was awful. The two staff at the breakfast area bickered with each other constantly as did the cleaning staff. We were supposed to go back at the end of our trip but cancelled, paying a penalty because it was such a horrible experience.

We were very pleased with our accommodations. Our room was clean and spacious. The front desk was very friendly and accommodating. This hotel is just over the bridge and very close to downtown Vancouver without paying the expensive Vancouver hotel prices. Coffee, tea, juice are available complementary in the lobby. A very extensive hot breakfast is included.

Avoid this hotel in Vancouver. Is Very old place, smell bad and we find bugs in our room, the staff was rude to us, “breakfast” was short and bad quality. They charge the same price the other hotels with good quality. Don’t trust the pictures.

This is just an average motel. It is not a hotel but an older remodeled motel. Rooms are small and darker but adequate. Small cramped bathroom and kitchenette. The room itself was clean but finishes were below average. On a busy road but that does mean it is close to many north vancouver sites and right off the hi way. If you are looking for a budget motel its fine. Breakfast is served but it is below average and the lounge is quite small. Staff is friendly. All in all I was in it for budget this time around and if you go in with that mind set you will likely be content. You would not walk away with any great things to say just a stay.
