We decided we had to see this as we had read the reviews and we weren't disappointed. There's a free shuttle to the entrance from Canada Square which makes things really easy and then it's straight into the gondola and up the mountain. There's some amazing views out over Vancouver on the way up but once you are up there, there's so much more to see.
We watched most of the Lumberjack show which was fun but more aimed at the kids, then we watched the Raptor display, which was brilliant. We then did an eco-walk and the guide for that was really interesting, giving us information on the plants and animals but also on the indigenous people and also how climate change is affecting the mountain.
Next we took a ski lift up to the very top of the mountain. My wife was really brave as she doesn't like heights but did it in both directions and we even saw a humming bird on the way down!
We finished off with an owl display which was once again really interesting and prepared for the gondola down. We thought the queue looked a bit long but after half an hour it hadn't moved. We then found out from one of the other visitors that the gondola had a fault and was being fixed. Unfortunately there was no announcement from the staff telling us this. We contemplated walking down as this takes about an hour but as it was a hot day, decided to wait and got down after about another 45 minutes. Then the shuttle back to downtown and the end of a fabulous day. Definitely do it, it's pricey but worth it.
