This is a beautifully restored farmhouse with a quaint tea room that serves in English tea regularly during the summer. Visit the house and see how people lived at the turn of the century. There is a beautiful garden to wander in during the summer and many pieces of antique machinery and artifacts to view. We like to pick up some food items from one of the local shops and enjoy eating a picnic on a picnic bench under the large shady trees. If you check on the City of Richmond website you sometimes catch an event such as a plant sale or Family Farm Day. Once you have finished visiting the farm you can always go for a stroll along the dyke or head out on bikes to enjoy the river views. At the end of No. 3 Rd there is a pier where you can fish (you need a licence) or what one of the fishermen reel in their catch. We fish there all summer long. There is no transit so visiting this location must be done by bike, car or by someone with good walking shoes... Enjoy.
