A lovely, very informative and thorough tour of the brewery. Everything was covered - from the family history through to the beer making process and how it has (or hasn’t) changed in 172 years. Roz was a passionate tour guide and her passion for the brewery business really shone through. The building in itself was amazing; testament to the engineering of the Victorian age and a delight to be shown around. Finally, the little bar downstairs at the end with the beer sampling, along with complimentary tour glasses was a lovely end to a fascinating couple of hours.
Oh and not to forget Nelson the beautiful shire horse who stood patiently in his stable while we all oohed and aahed over him!!

Always been one of my favourite breweries, so to finally come here and see living history at work was an absolute pleasure. Beautiful tower brewery, retaining so much of its original features, incredible Victorian era machinery still in use producing high quality beer daily. Roz gave us an excellent and very informative tour of the whole brewery, with some samples in the lovely cellar bar to round off a superb day.

Booked lunch then a brewery tour. Food was delicious and then the tour was probably best we have done of a brewery or distillery. Perfect group size and Leon was a great guide...knowledgeable and enthusiastic and just enough humour!

Fascinating history and building and superb beer. Best of all love that you don't feel rushed in the tasting at the end.
