Family visit where we had fish & chips and the local and extremely good Noss Beer. Make a note of your table no, order at the bar and it will be brought to you. We sat outside - perfectly idyllic and inside when we got cold. Be aware most tables are reserved inside by 7.30 in the summer and book ahead. We were lucky to get in. All the staff are really helpful and welcoming.
The fish was so fresh, melting on your tongue. I wish I knew the secret of the thin crispy outside of their chips with soft perfect insides. Best I have had anywhere to date. Be very aware of the rising tide in the car park as over the years it has enveloped many a car. Tide times are listed on a board in the car park so do check.
This pub is in the most wonderful of picturesque waterside positions and if you haven’t experienced it you will not be disappointed if you seek it out. There is a broad and interesting menu but a little limited for Vegetarians. Having said that the stuffed red pepper I saw come out looked amazing.

Great location, outside seating area. Dog friendly and fabulous food. Never disappointed. If you park by the waters edge beware of the tide.

A family meal and dog friendly. Amazing liver parfait, beautiful trio fish starter, followed by great fish and chips, succulent burgers and wonderful sea bass. With sticky toffee pudding to finish washed down by local ales. Dog and child friendly, I wish we were local.

We were staying in Newton Ferrer's across the creek and had been advised to book a table. It was particularly busy on this weekend as the regatta was closing. However, we were given a tentative booking and arrived choosing to have a couple of drinks outside until the table was ready. The staff are pleasant, the beer is second to none (the local noss beers are amazing!!) and the food we ordered came quickly and was very well cooked. We had a lovely few hours here with a view from our table and would definitely recommend it. 4.5 stars!

5 of us on a depleted yacht rally finally made it as far West as we wanted to go ;weather is always an issue in getting back to The Solent.
Just as well we did book as it soon filled up with all ages .Good sign.
Very relaxed atmosphere and staff all very young but very capable.
Had choice table given to us in bay window overlooking inlet and terrace .Was regatta week so no wonder so popular.
Food was very varied and fish did of course feature in extensive menu and all reasonably priced .Well presented and cooked well .Certainly worth making room for a pudding.
If low tide one can walk across inlets-saving a lot of time-but be sure you keep ones eye on clock!!
We tied up our dinghies by Kilpatrick Steps and from there short walk along road straight to premises.
NOSS by the way is name for a foot crossing.
On returning rather overlooked tide and even we got caught short-water 12" up our legs to untie the ropes-not very clever.
Village opposite-Newton Ferrers has an excellent butchers/Co_op store/chemist and Post Office with coffee/tea shop adjoining with yummy home made cakes.
Lovely spot and was well worth our efforts getting to whole area-Plymouth is close bye.
Very popular with yachties-now we know why.
