This cottage was nice and had a great back patio with a table and chairs that look out onto a wonderful view. You can see bunnies, squirrels and chipmunks from the patio too!
The bedrooms are nice but laid out a bit strangely. There are 2 bedrooms upstairs in the back and you have to walk through one to get to the next. The room with the best view doesn't have a shower (only a tub) so you need to use the one downstairs or the one in the other bedrooms upstairs. And there was no hairdryer! I suggest buying a hairdryer for the place.
We had a lovely visit! The cottage is close to everything you need in South Lake Tahoe and I would recommend.
We stayed here for a week with family and friends, and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves! We never tired of the incredible view from the large back windows and the deck.
The house is spacious and provided all that we required to prepare meals, or to simply lounge around between visits to the lake.
Our location also allowed us easy access to restaurants and other attractions. And we enjoyed walking the trails directly off the backyard, as well as exploring the neighborhoods.
Thanks for this special time!

There is no complaint about this house!
This is the first time my family come to Lake Tahoe.
The location was great, the kitchen was pretty well equipped.
Our family love the backyard looking out to the river.
The children enjoy their breakfast in the morning while watching coyote walking behind the fence in the backyard. An experience they will never forget!!!
We will definitely come back again next year!
We stayed the weekend with another hosting couple and four teenage exchange students and never felt cramped. The owner is very gracious and the kitchen was stocked with all of the staples. In addition, there were books, maps and games for entertainment, and recommendations for food. We relaxed on the deck enjoying the views, played games, walked to the lake, played mini golf across the street, and ordered in pizza. One Japanese exchange student said it was the highlight of his visit to California (and that included Disneyland and San Francisco).
