The location is perfect - right at the Heavenly gondola and a block from the State Line casinos. Gondola ride is worth the price, but be aware it's closed the month of May. One bedroom unit beautifully equipped and stocked with everything you need. Great exercise facility. But I really take offense at the $26 per day parking charge and the fact you must pay the valet to put your car in and out and I would have given 5 starts otherwise. Nobody pays a parking charge at my home resort. But there is an answer - at least in the off season though perhaps not during the peak summer season. There is a large parking lot behind Harrah's Casino two blocks away. It is not patrolled and the cars parked there don't have any window tags or stickers. I moved my car there after paying the ransom for one day. There is also a large parking lot behind Harvey's casino across the street. Also not patrolled. Other residents also loved the place but hated the parking fee.

Room Tip: Inside facing room is a little better if you can get it.

Visited Lake Tahoe for the weekend, and this is a great location. Very good service, very nice room with tons of amenities. Literally the Ski Lift is in the courtyard of the hotel, easy to walk to. Had a great time. Only issue is there is no Room Service in this hotel. but plenty of restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance.

I chose this resort for our first getaway with a new baby. I wanted to relax, but still have some of the comforts of home and this property delivered. We had a two room suite - separate bedroom with bathroom and combined huge living room with full kitchen and bathroom. Located at the base of Heavenly, there are restaurants, shops, a grocery store, and the lake within easy walking distance. It was great to be able to make dinner and eat on the balcony in the evenings. They also have activities I actually wanted to participate in - wine tasting, exercise, etc. I can only imagine how amazing it would be in the winter.

Room Tip: Ask for special requests at check-in (got a jetted tub)

We stayed here for two nights. The location is perfect..next to Heavenly gondola, casinos and restaurants. The one bedroom is quite large: full kitchen, two full bathrooms, two fireplaces and our room had a patio. We would stay here again if we were able to get a good deal on the room again. We paid $151 a night before tax. The only downside is the $26 per day parking fee! That is practically what I pay to park in NYC! Also, we were encouraged to eat breakfast at Driftwood Cafe by the hotel staff. The food took 50 minutes (I ordered an omelet and my husband ordered chicken fried steak). His steak was so hard it could have broken his plate and it was overpriced. Maybe the hotel gets a kickback from the cafe but I would steer clear of Driftwood.

This is one of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Luxury apartment, fully furnished kitchen with top notch supplies. Centrally located for everything from gondolas for skiers, casinos, restaurants and shopping. Had such fun swimming outdoors in heated pool while snow falling. It was truly a great stay. Staff was remarkably obliging from early check in to late check out. Will stay there again.
