Shame, nice location, good welcome, poor menu.
All fur coat and no nickers. Looked good poor taste.
Cold bowls, tastelessness to the food.

Thank Simon H

We had to wait far too long for any service. It was clear that the lovely young lady who tried to srrve us had had no training and could not answer any of our question about the beer types or the food on the menu. A lot of our choices were 'off'.

When tbe mains came 'ordinary' cpmes to mind. The lamb was a very small portion and certainky not worth the money. Annoying service, too long to wait and very expensive. Overall dissapointing.

Had an absolutely delicious dinner on Good Friday. The staff were extremely welcoming and very attentive. I had the waygu burger and I could eat it all over again today! This season’s menu had been introduced that night and the chefs didn’t let themselves down getting the orders out on time. The menu itself is fresh and inspiring and it took a while to decide given how delicious it all sounded. The ambiance is comfortable and welcoming and it’s nice to see they allow dogs. We thoroughly recommend this lovely pub. PS: you NEED to try the wasabi ice cream... they also make a pretty mean espresso martini!

Arrived to be greeted by Tim in his wonderful effervescent manner. We had the dogs with us- not a problem. Decided on two courses of dinner& dessert, a steal at £23 because if the quality. Roast Wagyu beef and roast pork with gorgeous vegetables ( cauliflower cheese, broccoli spears, roasted diced carrot, beetroot & parsnip plus roasties & yorkies) followed by the orange Easter nest brownie and the raspberry roulade. DELICIOUS!!
Service impeccable and such a great atmosphere in the whole ( very busy ) pub. We chatted with fellow guests and introduced curious children to the dogs as they explored the pub on the Easter egg trail- a nice touch I thought, which made for a family friendly time.
Definitely a pub worth visiting.

Called the pub a few days before we wanted to go. Not only was it Easter Sunday that we wanted to come but there were 9 of us! The pub agreed to fit us in for 3pm. Whilst we had a bit of a wait for our table the front of house service was brilliant. The guy dealing with us was having a joke with us all and took our order at the bar. Once seated the starters arrived almost immediately. Nine cleared plates. Fabulous roast dinners and gorgeous puddings. The staff were excellent very friendly and of course we all fell in love with Ted the dog! Highly recommend the 3 crowns
