On impulse I steered my new car towards Twyning. There was a howling gale, the river was up.
Inside there was a warm welcome, a comprehensive menu as weĺl as a specials board.
Mix and Max furniture with comfy seating.
We ordered flatiron steaks, medium rare and medium well done. Mine pink and slightly bloody, my friend wanted hers cooked more. The waitress was reluctant to take the plate saying the steak would be chewy and unpleasant. We accepted the risk. It returned tasty and what my friend wanted.
There was no time for pud, but we will return and have desert another time!!
