“A brilliant relaxing holiday”

My fiancé & I had never stayed at Calahonda despite holidaying in the Marbella area on previous occasions and we were certainly not disappointed. The communication with Helen and her colleagues when booking the holiday was fantastic. They were extremely understanding about our delay at the airport and ensured that we were met in person so the keys could be made available for us when we arrived.

The apartment is beautiful. It has everything you could wish for: a massive balcony with great sea views, Jacuzzi, sun loungers, outdoor sofas, dining table & canopy to protect you from the sun when you want a break. Inside, there is a fully equipped kitchen, comfortable sofa & TV with some English channels, a comfortable bed with nice en-suite. The Wi-Fi is a great touch and very helpful with contacting home to speak with family and rub it in how lovely our holiday was!

The only slight on the apartment would be that the shower room produces some form of smell which can get quite strong at times. It's not sewerage and is to do with a sulphur build up however if it could be masked then it would make the apartment perfect.

It's a great location where we were only a short drive from most of the destinations we wished to visit, with all the local amenities found very nearby. A car is a must for this place though as it's at the top of a long steep hill, but that's why there are such good views.

We loved our stay, thank you very much Helen and team, and intend to come back for another visit.

Liked best: The hugh terrace with the jacuzzi and lounge furniture was fantastic. We spent most of our time here enjoying the views including of an evening where we wrapped a blanket over us and enjoyed the quiet
Liked least: Nothing negative to say about the apartment, perhaps a few airfreshners for the shower room?

Stunning apartment with large wrap around South facing sunny terrace with hot tub. Everything you could want in the large apartment. Car essential as road to the accommodation is very very steep. 10mins drive down the hill to beach, shops, supermarkets, bars etc. Underground parking and associated lift was very welcome. Small niggle was the €80 cleaning cost and the €30 charge for the WFi. This should be included in the overall cost I feel!

“Spectacular apartment with view to match!................”
Reviewed 3 August 2014 for a stay in July 2014

..This beautiful apartment is situated at the very top of calahonda with stunning views over the sea and surrounding area. The wrap around terrace gives lots of outside space with sun from early in the morning until early evening and several seating and lounging options. The sun shades also gave welcome relief in the heat of the afternoon. The jacuzzi is on the side terrace and was great but it is overlooked by the apartments behind. There was also a gas BBQ and a clothes dryer. All of the rooms were clean and well furnished. There is plenty of wardrobe space (and hangers!) and the kitchen was also well equipped with new appliances and lots of little extras including a BBQ set, plastic glasses for outside use, cleaning materials etc etc. The air con was on an Eco setting which meant that it worked for two hours max before switching off - this was only a problem on a couple of nights when it was exceptionally hot and we had to get up to switch it in to cool us down but it wasn't really a hardship and it obviously makes ecological and economic sense not to have the air con on continually. We only used the pool in our block but could've used any of the others,It was always clean, there were enough loungers (but no shade) and rarely was there anyone else using it at the same time as us. Although there are lots of apartments in close proximity, it was generally very peaceful.
A car is a must as the apartment is so far away from the nearest shops and restaurants and the hill is very steep! We used the garage beneath the block which also kept the car cool. The complex has electronic security gates that gives some assurance.
Tiniest of grumbles was that we didn't have enough towels....we were given one bath and one hand towel each so had to wash them several times during our stay.
We would love to stay at the apartment again.

“What a view !!!”
Reviewed 12 January 2014 for a stay in September 2013

On arrival at the apartment we were met by Helen who had previously sent us directions of how to get there from the airport, she showed us around and how to work everything. The apartment is situated at the top of Calahonda with magnificent views from the large wrap around balcony with a bbq, jacuzzi, dining area and outside lounge. The interior is well fitted out with everything you need for a fantastic stay .There are 3 large supermarkets and numerous small ones within 10 minutes drive and local restaurants are within 3 minutes drive. if you wish to go further Cabopina is about 10 minutes drive along the main road where you will find Andys beach (park at the top wasteland and walk down) which is good for swimming along with a selection of restaurants. If you are looking to try local food go around the harbour onto El Realejo beach and try the first bar / restaurant for excellent pealla. At the bottom of the hill you find Royal Beach which has a nice restaurant and bar with sunbeds also, if you drive down past the Altamar you will find another section of Calahonda beach which again has a good restaurant which serves excellent food. The apartment is centrally located for Marbella, Benalmadena, Fuengoriola and Peurto Banus it is essential to have a car. We had a fantastic relaxing stay and would go again.

“Great place to get away from it all...”
Reviewed 25 November 2013 for a stay in June 2013

My partner and I had a fab time here this June.

Lovely apartment with a great view and a brilliant outside area. The interior is decidedly plush and well kitted out too.

You defintely need to hire a car to make the most of the area but it's really easy to get to, and makes a good base for exploring Malaga, Marbella et al.

The beach is really nice at the bottom of the hill and there are plenty of shops and supermarkets to stock up from ahead of a beautiful evening bbq-ing with a drink in hand and the sun setting.

Everything you need to escape for a few days of sun and relaxation.
