This hotel is quite simply the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled extensively throughout Europe, it truly is a home from home!. It is always difficult to relax on business trips but the Solplay Apartment Hotel makes this simple with spacious rooms that are quiet and implacably clean, you can enjoy the facilities, the bar, restaurant, pool and health facilities or keep yourself to yourself and catch up on work without interruption. I have stayed there on three occasions and cannot fault the hotel, its location and above all the staff & service. I look forward to my next trip to Lisbon and without doubt the Solplay.

The hotel is a little bit out of nowhere, but we knew it when we made our reservation. The public transport is very good in Portugal, about 100-200 meters, there's a bus stop and you can reach Algés within 10 minutes. From there you can take a train to Lisbon. Taxi is cheap, from the Hotel to Algés it was 3.80 Euro and the bus ticket was the same price.
The staff were very kind, helpful (thank you again:)). Our room was a studio for two people, we were at the fifth floor (the view was amazing). Nice and big room (bedroom, living room, kithcen and bathroom) with a kitchen and washing machine, cable internet, cable tv. The breakfast was great and the coffee too (nespresso). You can eat some sandwiches and other stuff at the bar (club sandwich, hamburger and some kind of toast with mozzarella and tomato, this was great). The swimming pool's water was a little bit cold, but it's quite good because of the hot weather :) There is a very nice garden (we saw rabbits in it :))
We loved this hotel so much.

My husband & myself booked into this hotel for 2 nights as we wanted something nice & quite. We had arranged for a private pick up at the airport throught the hotel which cost €20. The hotel is really lovely, but it is a bit out of the way. The pool area is amazing & has waiter service. The bar was also lovely. We had a nice big room with kitchen facilities in it & a huge big balcony. The breakfast on both mornings was lovely, there was a nice big choice. The hotel is a bit out of the way, but we knew this before we arrived. When you come out of the hotel, walk down to the right & you can catch the bus to Alges (I think this is how you spell it), this is the last stop on the bus & it leaves you at the train station, get the train into the city. On the 3rd day we moved into The Corinthina Hotel beside the Zoo. We visited the Zoo, Georges Castle & spent a day in Sinrta, which was amazing, its only 40mins away on the train.
The Solplay hotel is really nice & the staff were all lovely.

We stayed here in a 1 bedroom suite with our newborn son. The hotel is a 15 minute drive to downtown Lisbon and the front desk gave us good directions for how to get there. It's pretty easy, though driving in Lisbon is crazy!

The hotel itself is gorgeous. The outdoor pool was cold so we enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub. The room was large and well equipped. It even had a clothes washer! The breakfast buffet was delicious. The hotel's restaurant for dinner was also spectacular!

I would highly recommend this hotel, especially if you have kids. We will definitely be back with our older son in the future!
